I got an owl this morning... Apparently the scout from the Ballycastle Bats has been to at least one of Gryffindor's matches. It's a bit early, but I have a try-out after school let's out and NEWTs.

Well I wanted to make sure before I actually mentioned anything... But...

Isn't it just wonderful? Though I suppose I'll have to drop out of Quidditch and all.

Ace of Cups... I've been keeping to just one card a day. It's a good card though. Probably not any good news, but it's usually a bit more right than reading the horoscopes in the Prophet every morning. It's better to do it at the end of the day though otherwise you'll spend the whole day worrying if you get a bad card.

It makes me feel a lot better about asking James to come by though.

It's a bit of a hard card to describe. It shows the possibility of future deep feelings, compassion, intimacy, love etc. In readings, it shows that a seed of emotional awareness has been planted in your life although you may not yet recognize it. When the seed sprouts, it could take almost any form. It might be an attraction, strong feeling, intuitive knowing, or sympathetic reaction. On the outside, it could be an offer, gift, opportunity, encounter or other such things.

We have decided to kidnap her, AKA lock her in the dorms to let her sleep until at least time for afternoon classes. She's not actually missing anything though, so all should be well in that department. Unless Gryffindor had practice this morning for Quidditch in which case YOU NEED TO CALM DOWN WITH THAT JAMESIE! MKAY?!

Do not try to stop us, we are all of age and know defensive and silencing charms so you hopefully don't wake her up because I'm not sure Lien's bed has seen her all week. And it missed her! I heard it crying at night and everything!

So that's where she is. Don't worry too much unless she doesn't wake up or something.

Classes seem to be going well, as does Quidditch practice. Thank goodness it's getting warmer.

Yes, that's all I have to say.

He's being difficult. And not just normal James difficult, but really difficult about ready to make me pull out my hair. He avoids the idea of him being anything but fine and I'm just trying to sit back and hope one day he'll tell me something other than "fine".

I'd almost take a sarcastic "just bloody fantastic". And I feel like I need to talk to someone.

Sam - Would possibly tell me to shag him and just be done with it... Or that James is "extremely fine". This is something I already know.
Zoë - I'm not sure I'd exactly describe us as being "friends". Is also likely none too happy with the Quidditch game.
Rose - ... Possibly owes me one, but I'm not one to take advantage of that just to talk about her cousin.
Lily - Knows where I'm coming from, but... I don't know.
Albus - No... Just... Not going there with him.
Mags - ... Nah.
James - This would seemingly be the obvious answer, but he's just so... cold.

- Finish DADA Essay
- Grab a shower before dinner

- Quidditch Practice hour after dinner though that rather negates taking a shower before hand.
- Finish the next chapter for Charms class.
- Finish gift for Charms Intern, because as much as I like the rest, that has to be the hardest working one of the bunch. Or at least seems to do the most "flying solo" out of my classes.
- Tea leaves
- Am not meaning to look like Runes Intern writing this
- New parchment to avoid writing lists in journal.

Great job Gryffindor. I'm really proud of you guys today.

Would it be completely unethical of me to somehow get a snowman in Hufflepuff's Common Room and charm him to either discreetly throw snowballs at Hufflepuffs team when they're not looking or do something along the lines of just randomly start juggling his own head?

... Not that I've been thinking about this for any span of time.

I'm really proud of you guys though, even if I don't seem like it right now with getting in practices over lunch time and generally running you lot ragged. If you've complained, it hasn't been right to my face though. And I don't care what the sorting hat might say... Hufflepuff doesn't know the MEANING of hard work after everything we've done this week. And even if we end up losing, we'll have given them the best effort we can manage, so we've already won.

Though I really hope we win and all that. I'm strongly considering making Friday's practice optional just so we can be completely prepared and not worn out on Saturday.

You know, Charms never used to be this distracting. Am I the only one wondering "Why didn't I take Care of Magical Creatures"?

ONE MORE DAY!

Okay, I'm probably over-reacting since Gryffindor's not even playing, but I always look forward to Quidditch weekends. Plus it gives us an opportunity to get another look at Ravenclaw before we play them at the end of the season. Though that still give them plenty of time to actually get better, but if they lose to Slytherin, then I think all we need to worry about is Hufflepuff next month...
